If you’re getting ready to celebrate a special occasion, you can use your festivities to benefit DC Central Kitchen’s life-changing programs. Your personal celebration can change lives. We’re here to help make it easy with ideas and resources.

How it works
DC Central Kitchen will contact the honoree (the person who has the special occasion) when a gift is made if the donor provides the honoree’s contact information.
- Donors making a gift online should fill out the “In Honor Of” section of the form and include the honoree’s contact information.
- Donors making a gift by check should include the honoree’s name on the memo line, and include the honoree’s contact information in the envelope.

Parties! Birthdays, Bar or Bat Mitzvahs, Anniversaries, Graduations, Retirements and More
Ask your guests to make a donation to DC Central Kitchen instead of bringing gifts to your party. Include a link to our online donation form or include our mailing address in your party invitation. If you plan to give out party favors, use one of the templates below to print a party favor tag.
Weddings
Ask for donations to DC Central Kitchen in lieu of gifts, or add our donation website to the list of places you’re registered.
Give a gift to DC Central Kitchen in place of party favors, and use one of the templates below to make a tent card for each place setting.
Holiday or Birthday Gifts
Got someone who’s hard to buy for? Give the gift of opportunity. Make a gift online or by mail. You can also download and print a customizable certificate to give to the recipient.
