From tammy: Hi
From Jessica_Facilitator: Jane, we do have some attrition stuff at the conference, including a workshop on "Recruitment, Case Management and Life Skills"
From AudreyFoodBankmoc.org: hi everyone
From LynettaDuluthMN: Hi everyone
From Bevin@IFFS: Hi, all.
From Julie: hello!
From Jessica_Facilitator: Let's start with some basic. Does everyone want to throw out their attrition rates for your programs?
From JaneKCCK: I would certainly like to see ours improve!
From LynettaDuluthMN: 35-50% depending on the time of year
From JaneKCCK: We are up to about 60%
From tammy: current 38-40%
From EdenFareStart: At FareStart in Seattle we hover around a 50% attrition rate, however particpants regularly return after taking care of whatever it was they needed to take care of -- sobriety, court issues, et al . .
From Bevin@IFFS: 60% is impressive
From AudreyFoodBankmoc.org: Looks like our is 15%--mostly from the first 3 classes-- we are in our 5th now.
From AudreyFoodBankmoc.org: Wait, that percentage is what we lost--so 85% is our retention rate
From LynettaDuluthMN: is that 60% retention or 60% drop out?
From Jessica_Facilitator: OK, let's clear that up. Retention rate, as Audrey said, is what % stays. Attrition rate is the percent you lose.
