Brief Description
The Campus Kitchen at
Minnesota State University, Mankato addresses the problems of hunger and
its root causes in the rural community of Mankato area. Using food from
Minnesota State’s Dining Services and community restaurants, students
prepare, deliver, and serve meals to Mankato community agencies,
low-income families, and the homeless. The program relies heavily on
student energy, ideas, and efforts.
