Brief Description Students from
Dillard University, a Historically Black College, cook and deliver meals to
several afterschool programs, and then stay to tutor and mentor children. In
the summer, the program provideds hundreds of daily meals through a Summer
Food for Kids program, which serves children who receive free and subsidized
lunches during the school year. The program relies heavily on student
energy, ideas, and efforts.
