    Volunteers

The ideal pool of volunteers are the parents of the children attending the program. The goal is a "community based program" with people from the community taking care of its own. Another good source of volunteers are businesses and churches in the community. A church or a business might want to make the second Tuesday of each month as their night to help. This gives the church or business a sense of ownership and a more vested interest in the program. All volunteers should have a records check done. This is to cover you and to insure the safety of your program. Anyone who is not willing to fill a records check form is asked not to participate.
